We’ve been friends since college and there isn't a day that goes by where we don't call or message each other. It might be short and sweet, but it is an integral part of each day for me. We’ve clocked over 30 years of friendship now and we met when we were navigating the independence of early adulthood. Fast forward these years, and we've supported each other through relationships, careers, marriages, babies and now mid life. We laugh all the time...at 8 Fathers & Sons 10 Colour – don't be afraid to use it life and at ourselves. We can talk about any topic without judgement and we have each other’s back 100%. I was a young, impressional, country girl when I moved to the city at 18 and this friendship helped me flourish, knowing that no matter what, I had a friend who I could count on.   Studies have shown that having close friendships boost your health with increased immunity, lower stress, improved self confidence, increased happiness and decreased anxiety. So be social, invite friends over, head out to your favourite restaurant, join a local club or volunteer and continue growing friendships no matter what age we are. 12 Getting a good night's sleep Simone 18 Gratitude Editor Printing Simone Evans [email protected] Spotpress Pty Ltd – 9549 1111 Art Director Photography – Cover image www.shutterstock.com Debbie Elliott [email protected] Imagery ingimage.com Publisher Contributors Dr Mary Ling, Sam Woods, Jordi Woods, Sarah Tolmie, Dr Georgia Page, Dorian Mode, Lydia Thorpe, Vickey Taylor, Adrienne Garside Phone: 4325 3393 20 Urinary Tract Infection Debbie Elliott – Ph: 0421 026 915 Simone Evans – Ph: 0413 186 431 22 Foods to boost mood trading as On the Coast Publications ABN 66 765 066 257 54 Hills Street, North Gosford 2250 24 Southbank Maritime Warranty & Indemnity 26 Helping people – changing lives 30 On the Coast happenings 4 O N T H E C OA S T – OV ER 5 5 Advertisers and/or advertising agencies upon and by lodging material with the Publisher for publication or authorising or approving of the publication of any material INDEMNIFY the Publisher, its servants and agents against all liability claims or proceedings whatsoever arising from the publication and without limiting the generality of the fore-going to indemnify each of them in relation to defamation, slander of title, breach of copyright, infringement of trademarks or names of publication titles, unfair competition or trade practices, royalties or violation of rights or privacy AND WARRANT that the material compiles with all relevant laws and regulations and that its publication will not give rise to any rights against or liabilities in the Publisher, its servants or agents and in particular that nothing therein is capable of being misleading or deceptive or otherwise in breach of Part V of the Trade Practices Act 1974.
