DECEMBER/JANUARY 2019 Welcome Our weeks are always busy juggling the creation of both Kidz and Seniors issues plus the addition of extra design jobs that come our way so when we decided to renovate our office a few months ago, the job seemed mammoth and we quickly placed it in the too hard basket. Fast forward to November and on the spur of the moment, we decided there was a small gap in our work schedule so on went the paint smocks, out came the ladders and off we went. The old hand basin is a thing of the past, the gyprock has been mended, the walls are freshly coated in brilliant white and the feature wall a lovely rich green. If you look too closely you will see the flaws but all in all, we are happy with the job and enjoying our lovely new surrounds. Deb and I have always had a pipe dream of doing a big house reno, a bit like the American show…Flipping Houses. But after completing one small office, this pipe dream very quickly evaporated and will never be discussed again!!!! 34 Food Poisoning ~ take it 36 Now it seems we really aren’t the world’s best painters as there was more on the floor coverings and in our hair than on the walls. We made the job quite difficult for ourselves though, choosing to keep all the furniture in the office and just move it into the middle of the room. We thought we were saving time but quickly realised that wasn’t the case as we had to shuffle sideways to use the roller!
