Central Coast Cinema Under the Stars The Greatest Showman set to light up Central Coast Cinema Under The Stars Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars is returning to light up the night on Central Coast for its 10th time. The FREE, family friendly event will be held at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday, 19 January and will feature the blockbuster movie, The Greatest Showman, rated PG. Entertainment will get underway from 5.30pm with great live music, kids activities including a circus workshop and football activities, and once the sun goes down the screen will light up for the feature movie. Entry is free for everyone and people are encouraged to bring along their picnic rugs and picnics, or purchase food and non- alcoholic drinks at the event as they soak up the magical atmosphere of watching a popular family film in the great outdoors. Newcastle Permanent Sponsorship Manager, Danielle Lilley said, “We understand how much regional communities across NSW look forward to our Cinema Under the Stars events, and as a customer-owned organisation it is just one of the many ways we’re giving back to communities that support us.“Since 2008, Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars has brought families and communities together by providing free outdoor cinema events across regional NSW, and our 10th event in Central Coast is expected to attract 3,000 people this January,” Ms Lilley said. This season’s Newcastle Permanent Cinema Under the Stars program is set to travel to 16 locations throughout regional NSW, providing an evening of free, family- friendly entertainment.
