Staying stylish by the seaside

Summer is definitely in the air which brings us to talking all things Summer Style .

So , if you ...

• Live on the Central Coast
• Love to embrace the coastal lifestyle
• Want to dress up and feel appropriate to the environment and the lifestyle summer brings .

But ...

When the warmer weather arrives find yourselves reaching for the same predictable summer styling you wore last year then you may just be in a “ Style Rut ”!
This Summer let us help you step outside the normality of your wardrobe and embrace Style By The Sea .
Before we get started lets find out just what you may need to change or embrace to ensure you love your summer wardrobe . How many of the below resonate with you ?
• You always buy black because it goes with everything
• You use the same handbag for day and after dark events
• You don ’ t know what the key colours are for Summer
• You have been doing your make-up the same way for the last several years
• You wear your exercise clothes when you are not exercising
• You wear the same shorts you did two years ago
• You buy the same style clothes , just in different colours
• You feel helpless and that nothing suits you
• You haven ’ t got a scarf or accessory in the latest style , design or colour
• You think the best way to dress is to cover up all the bits you don ’ t like
• You are uninspired by what is in your wardrobe
• You only replace items when they are no longer wearable
• Your clothes cover ( or hide ) more of your figure than they contour or compliment by Sam & Jordi Woods
• You have a full wardrobe of clothes and nothing to wear ! If you found most of these rang true for you then chances are you are in a “ style rut ”. This is so easy to fall into and as we live in a coastal and laid back area it isn ’ t the norm for people to dress up for day to day activities such as going to the beach or doing groceries . However , if you like to then why not ?
Just because we have coastal lifestyles does not mean everything has to be casual . Recently we have introduced the hashtag # DressUpItFeelsGood because we found many clients feel better when they dress up and are given permission that it is ok . This is our way of using our online presence to help others feel fabulous and encourage them to dress how they want to .
Everyone has their own individual way of showcasing their style and what they feel comfortable in but what we find very common these days when styling is that women really do want to “ dress up ” a bit more . If this is you and you would like to step outside your comfort zone and out side of a possible style rut we are here to help and show you that it is easy ( when you know how and have some extra support !)
