November is always a special month I feel – with Bonfire Night and the run-up to Christmas along with the Remembrance servcie at the Memorial being prominent. This year Remembrance Sunday is on the 12th November. Details are on page four in the Church Notices. Arlesey Town Council news is on page 6 referencing the Neighbourhood Plan along with with items on the Draft Local Plan, updates on the MUGA and the Christmas Lights. The Arlesey Neighbourhood Plan is almost complete and a Referendum is taking place on the 30th to establish the next phase of the plan. It is a direct ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ vote to accept or reject the plan. it will be a vote as you would for local or general elections. Please see page 7 for more details or the poster on page 14. It is with regret that this will be the last issue of the magazine to be published. I have been producing it for the last five years and have met, interviewed and photographed some very interesting people and events. My decision has been made for both logistical and personal reasons. I will however go back to keeping and updating the website with more content and images. I have built a library of images over this time and thought I would share some that I have on file so on pages 8 to 13 there are some that have been published but many that haven’t. I hope you will continue to view the website and I’m happy to include anything you may feel is worth putting online.
