First, following the results of the election on Thursday 15th,
we would like to welcome Jeremy Wallace and Derek Page to
Arlesey Town Council.
At the time of writing this update, there were just two days left to
complete the Neighbourhood Plan Questionnaire, the response has
been excellent, and thanks go out to everyone that responded, and
especially all the residents that have been working on the project.
There’s more work to be done but we now enter the final phase.
A number of other projects are underway, and residents help
is always welcome. For example, the Community Events group,
supported by the Council is looking at a number of events throughout
the year and specifically looking for input and help with this years
Summer Fete, looking to make it better and better. Please contact the
ATC Office if you would like to get involved.
The re-organisation of the council continues, Susan our new clerk
is settling in very well, the new committee’s structure is in place and
many projects are underway. This will make the council meetings
more efficient (and shorter) so please join us, usually on the 3rd
Tuesday of the month, and get involved.
One new policy we would like to highlight, there is now in place a
‘Grants Policy’. So if you have a project or organisation and would like
to be considered for a grant from ATC this document gives the details
and explains how to apply – its available on the ATC web site.
Further help and advice is also available from the Town Council office
which can be contacted in person via phone on 01462 733722 or by
email: [email protected]

all the results being available on the website: arleseynp.org.uk
Who completed the survey?
A survey was sent to every household in the parish:
597 households completed the survey
this equates to 25% of all those households
