We try to make our article for ‘On the Button’ relevant to the month but we
simply don’t have any pictures about Bonfire Night which is the main event
in November, we also don’t have any that are Christmas related for the
December issue so once again we would ask If anyone out there has any old
photographs that you would like to share with the community and have a copy
stored permanently on the Archive database. We can scan them and return
them to you. They don’t have to be about Christmas but that would be ideal!
So this month we’ve decided to share some of the pictures we have which
show how we have moved around the Village and the surrounding area has
changed over the years ranging from the horse and cart to a stretch Limo,
not forgetting the bus service which is still going strong!
