election 2015
A huge turnout – and
a massive vote for change
The recent elections in May produced one of the largest turnouts at the
polls in Arlesey for many years. 63% of the voting population of Arlesey
placed crosses on their ballot papers. The result was a decisive vote for
change, where all 14 Independents for Arlesey candidates were elected,
each with over 1100 votes. Helen Frost was re-elected as councillor.

The first Council meeting, after the election, was held on 19th May 2015.
Outgoing chairman Nick Daniels was there to start proceedings and hand
over the chairmanship to Michael Holloway after the new council had
voted him in. The councillors then voted in a new Vice Chairman,
Chris Gravett. The following meeting saw a full agenda which resulted in
some items being carried over.
