With the rise in the number of ‘Drones’ (small electronic powered craft that
are able to fly hover and in many cases take pictures or video from high
vantage points) we thought we would share some images sent to us by
readers of Arlesey from above. The images on these pages are mostly taken
from aircraft long before Drones were used.
The main image on the left was sent to us by Sandra Sarll, but the origin
is unknown. It is dated around 1970. It shows St Peter’s Church in the very
centre, with the new Vicarage in place but before Vicarage Close was built.
