from the Vicar . . .
I have been thinking about how to
allocate my time in this half-time post.
As you probably know, half my time
is meant to be spent on parish work,
leaving the other half for running my
software business. But as I work from
home mostly, this gives me a fair
amount of flexibility.
A full time clergy post equates to
6 days a week, including Sunday;
so a half time post involves 3 days
including Sunday.
I shall be keeping one whole day a
week for parish work – which for the
time being will be Mondays. Sunday,
of course, is Sunday! And the other
day-worth of time I shall divide up as the week requires it – visits, meetings,
funerals/weddings, work with schools and so forth.
However, please feel free to contact me at any time, although you might
be more successful in finding me at the end of the phone on Mondays, or
early evenings other days of the week. Emails of course you can send at
any time and I will reply as soon as possible.
My contact details are; Telephone; 01462 731227
(answerphone will pick up if I am not available)
