Our Garden Fete on 31st
from the editor
O
n the 27th of April the Civic Service was held at St Peter’s Church. The
service to include the placing of the first ten crosses for the Arlesey
Remembers You project was to be filmed for the documentary too. Hopefully
next month we can report on this and the next step of the project. For an update
of the project so far, from Jodie Chillery, see pages 6 and 7.
Chase House also have a Garden Fete on 31st May from 11.00am till
4.00pm, with many stalls and activities. See bottom of page.
This year’s Duck Race is being organised behind the scenes and it is hoped
that the weather on 29th June 2014 will be as good as last year.
On Tuesday 6th May our council will vote on election of officers, with at least
one councillor making their intentions public beforehand.
As I write this the Resource Centre is still closed but has limited opening
hours, contact the Town Council office on 01462 733722 for more details or go
to the website: www.arleseytc.co.uk
Also the White Horse has re-opened after the previous landlord left suddenly
leaving the pub and accommodation needing extensive repair. We only have 4
pubs left in the town they need your support too.
