Q&A Q: Please briefly describe your role at Atrion and your day-to-day responsibilities A: My primary focus is to work with new and existing clients assisting them with their IT talent gaps, providing the right talent for their teams. My role is to match the Atrion engineer who possesses the skills and acumen that the client requires, which results in an immediate impact to its team and environment in which they are assigned. It’s almost like being a matchmaker! My duties include meeting with clients, understanding their current team’s structure, culture, skills and requirements, identifying resource gaps and providing a way for the client to leverage our team of engineers to help fill them. Q: What is your professional background; how did you wind up in the technology field? A: Well I’ve had a long background in the telecom field and continued to evolve my professional career from account management to marketing and then eventually into selling wireless services. From there, I gained extensive experience in infrastructure and construction, and then moved into the wireless infrastructure industry for the past five years before coming to Atrion. Atrion is the first technology company I’ve worked for, and it’s really exciting to incorporate my background into all of the different areas we cover here, from networking to data center/cloud to security and everything else that we do. Q&A with Atrion’s Talent Management Consultant Cindy Lepore Q: Name one thing about you that many of your co-workers wouldn’t know? One thing people might not realize is that I go Quahogging every summer. It’s big competition out there. People may not know I get down in the mud and pull those clams out!
