I am pleased to
confirm the news this
week that USG Boral
and Knauf Gypsum
propose to form a
new expanded joint
venture in Asia to be
named USG Boral
Building Products.
The joint venture will not
include the USG Boral
Australian and New Zealand
businesses, which will change
to 100% Boral ownership.
What does this mean for us?
As of November, the USG
Boral ANZ business will
become a Boral company. The
company name and brand will
remain unchanged. We will
continue to trade as USG Boral
and provide the same
distinctive brands, product
lines and services our
customers have come to know
and expect. All current ANZ
customers and suppliers have
been informed of the
ownership change and advised
that it’s business as usual.
USG Boral has won two
coveted Good Design Awards
at the 2019 Australian Awards
in Sydney. Our SHEETROCK ®
Dust Control Compound and
Ensemble™ Acoustical Ceiling
System both received Good
Design Awards for excellence
in design – a terrific
endorsement of our
commitment to product
innovation and functional
and aesthetic design.
We will provide you with
periodic updates as the
transition to 100% Boral
ownership progresses. As
