• Five provinces will be saturated with the Gospel so that every purok (a subdivision of a barangay) will have a healthy, reproducing church. • The 41 public university campuses in those five provinces will have healthy, reproducing student ministries that pro- duce student leaders who will be leaders in the Philippines and around the world. • In 10 countries where OFWs live and work, church planting movements will start among Filipinos, branching out to other ethic groups, in one new country each year. We already have work in Israel, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. We will soon expand to Singapore. Since the launch on January 21, 2017, we have seen God’s power and glory at work through: • Reconciliation—Wounded, divided pastors have stood in a training session and asked forgiveness of each other; they are now work- ing together again. • Unity—Pastors and lay people from multiple denom- inations have come together to work toward this vision. Quality leaders are stepping up to be regional church multiplica- tion facilitators and associate church multiplication facilitators. • Prayer and training—Prayer support (groups, walks, overnight meetings, vigils, etc.), basic coaching sessions, and Train & Multiply trainings have increased exponentially. Training teams are multiplying. • Faith—We walk by faith. Only 40 percent of The Juan Project is fund- ed. But each day, we experience God meeting our needs. Write to [email protected] for more details on the project and how you can donate. Recently, a pioneer church planter, unknown to our team, arrived in the afternoon of the first day of basic coaching training. He had seen the Facebook post that morning and asked to come. He jumped in and participated, reviewing what he had missed. At the end of the training he said to one of our workers, “I was ready to quit and walk away from ministry, but now I have been reborn. I am going back with new tools.” At another training, a pastor said: “I have attended train- ings for over 20 years. This training is the missing link: hands-on, heart- warming, and transforming. It restored my focus and reconditioned my desire to coach leaders.” Through The Juan Project, God is inspiring pastors and church work- ers to saturate the Philippines with the Gospel, which will contribute to the Billion.Global Vision. Lives are being changed, and communities are being transformed. photos pages 6-7: ECC Philippines team members receive training to help complete The Juan Project. 7
