Ordinary
Miracles
By Roger Kruse,
OMS India Missionary
My first journey to India was back in 1976
when I was a student at Asbury Seminary. I
have never forgotten the pure joy of discov-
ering fellowship with a small group of Christ
followers in a slum in Mumbai. The living
conditions were appalling, punctuated by
odors that assaulted my sense of smell.

Indian brothers and sisters through prayers
and songs of praise, the Holy Spirit flooded
my soul with tears of thanksgiving. Since
then, over the past 40 years, I have returned
to India at least 30 times, including making
it my home for 2 years in the early 1980s.

a life made new by the Lord.
