Troy and Roma Jean Backhuus – Missionary Care
Troy and Roma Jean have been accepted as missionaries with One Mission Society, serving with
the Member Care Department. The Lord has blessed them with the opportunity to do short-term
mission trips for more than 20 years, and for the past 4 years, they have felt the Lord’s calling to
concentrate their efforts on caring for missionaries who are on the field.

Al and Sandy Gaines – Men for Missions
Al and Sandy serve as regional directors for Men for Missions, a ministry of One Mission
Society, in the Dakotas and Minnesota. The desire of their hearts is to see people, groups,
and churches get excited about using their God-given talents to fulfill the Great Commission
through short-term missions. They desire to encourage people to do, go, and give while fol-
lowing God’s leading.

Josh Hohulin – Men for Missions
Josh is raising support to serve with OMS as the managing editor/media coordinator for Men for
Missions, the ministry of OMS that sends laypeople on short-term mission trips. He will manage
Action magazine and MFM’s social media. After a few years in the sports media world, Josh
shifted gears and joined Men for Missions to combine his two passions, media and ministry.

Kacie Loucks – Haiti
Kacie is in her second year of serving with One Mission Society at Cowman International School
in Haiti. She is excited to serve as the first grade teacher while also team teaching with and
supporting a Haitian teacher as he grows in his teaching abilities.

Wattanajit and Bethany (Ury) Tonglamun – Thailand
Wattanajit and Bethany serve in northern Thailand among the hill tribes and minority groups
that have emigrated from neighboring countries such as Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and China.
