Asia Pastor R* has witnessed the murders of his parents, his brother, and his cousin for following Jesus. He was beaten several times for helping establish a house church in a nearby town. One day, a member of a local gang stuck a gun in his mouth and told him that if he and his family didn’t leave within six days, they would kill him. He and his family stayed, and after receiving training through an OMS partner, he has helped start 30 new house churches in three years. Taiwan In May, OMS Taiwan missionary Don Bettinger had the privilege of baptizing five new believers. Of these, three were a father and his two sons. The wife was baptized in 2013. The husband’s father came to Christ and was baptized just a few days before succumbing to cancer. India David lives in a remote village in Andhra Pradesh, India. As a student at Vijayawada Bible Seminary, an OMS partner school of the Evangelical Church of India (ECI), David received both rigorous classroom instruction and practical ministry training on the weekends and during the summer. David now serves as an ECI-appointed missionary to largely unreached tribal groups in Gujarat state. ECI’s India Missionary Movement has more than 500 such missionaries working all over India. *Name wi ѡ
