Soon, Reverien dreamed of doing even more
for the Lord, so he enrolled in a Village Church
Planting (VCP) training center and received his
certificate of theology.
Reverien successfully completed both the literacy
and VCP training, making him the first person
from his community to receive an education like
this. Within this people group, it is extraordinary to
have someone reach this level of education, being
able to read and write. Many in the village were
even more impressed that he obtained an incomegenerating
job to support his family.
Today, Reverien works faithfully at his job, where
he has won the confidence of his employers. He
also serves as an assistant pastor, supervises four
additional house churches, and is a church planter.
Additionally, he is a Bridge to Reading literacy
trainer and has trained two tutors, who have just
started two new literacy training centers. He also
tutors literacy students in his own training center.
He continues to win people to Christ in his community
and in other neighborhoods.
God can use each one of us mightily, no matter
what circumstances we come from. We thank
God for Reverien’s transformation!
