ing grace, and purpose for them and
their children living with disabilities. We
have had mothers share their relief and
how their burdens have been lifted when
they hear and believe that they are not
to blame and that God has a plan and a
purpose for their life and the life of their
child. One mother in our group took in
an additional child with a disability, abandoned
by her extended family, because
she was so touched and compelled by
the Gospel message. God is opening
hearts and transforming lives.
This group also provides opportunities
for the members from various
churches to get involved in the ministry.
Some are responsible for visiting
and inviting the families and organizing
the transportation for our group. Many
help with setup at the church before the
group arrives. Several serve as small
group leaders. Others help lead worship,
and still others serve the kids with the
various planned activities.
We hope to launch an additional
group in another local church soon. The
increase in numbers has presented us
with many challenges, but the possibility
of another group is an answer to much
prayer. We pray that more and more
people would know the saving power of
Jesus here in Mozambique.
