past hurts and baggage into the new mar-
riage. Something had to change …
Two years later, the story is very different
for Olga. Open wounds have become radi-
ant scars—a testimony to God’s grace, love,
mercy, and power. With her life and new
marriage in Christ’s hands, she has forgiven.
She has walked through an 18-month dis-
cipleship process that forms a central part
of the Red Nueva Vida (New Life Network)
churches. This has been instrumental in her
growth and maturity. Today, she reaches out
to others who hurt, and from her own ex-
periences, she shares to bring comfort and
restoration. A natural leader with a servant’s
heart, Olga is mature in her faith, and Jesus
is using her to impact the lives of many. Re-
cently, as she reflected on her own testimo-
ny, she said, “My life is not any easier, and I
have the same problems and challenges as
before. But my way of living in the middle of
it has been transformed.”
Olga’s story is one of many from the
last two years of ministry with Red Nueva
Vida. We have grown to 16 churches, with
each being challenged to plant a daugh-
ter church, and a goal of 25 churches by
December 2020. In January 2020, the first
Olga praying with others
of 25 training institutes for church planting
leaders begins. These institutes will train
those who have moved through the 18-month discipleship process and have been
called to start a church. The institutes are done in partnership with Asbury Seminary
but are designed for lay people in secular employment. We trust that this will deepen
and enrich the leadership foundation, enabling New Life to continue to grow, multiply,
and impact individual’s lives, like Olga’s.

Nueva Vida, a partner ministry of One Mission Society, is a network of Hispanic
churches, planting churches that reproduce themselves by planting daughter
churches. It began in July 2016 as a ministry to Hispanic immigrants in the U.S.
