Hungary and Ukraine

As the pandemic began to slow in Europe , some of our European fields saw a renewed level of openness and desire to be in community during OMS English camps . Several young people committed their lives to Christ , and many more are continuing that conversation . Please pray for English clubs and Discovery Bible Studies this fall to become the first steps of seeing new disciples of Jesus in Europe .

India

In partnership with the Evangelical Church of India ( ECI ), OMS provides funds to help ECI-appointed graduates transitioning from their theological schools to new ministry locations . Every six months , OMS receives letters from the graduates that relate the stories of much fruit from their ministry efforts , including healings , exorcisms , decisions for Christ , and baptisms , as well as new worship services and children ’ s ministries . In 2018 , 29 graduates completed the program . Forty people graduated in 2019 and 2020 , and 2021 graduates will soon be appointed to their new ministries . We praise the Lord for a great return on investment in this ministry .

South Korea

Despite COVID-19 , new Korean missionaries are being trained in the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church Missionary Training Center and sent out to serve in mission fields around the world . Every year , missionary candidates go through training from March to September . OMS leads this training during the last three months , which includes the Perspectives course and learning about crossing cultures and religions . Pray for the six families currently in training as they learn , raise support , and prepare to go to make disciples in countries in Latin America and Asia .
