We are living in turbulent times , and this reality can be daunting . On several occasions over the past months , when I found myself unsettled about life , COVID-19 , finances , OMS ’ future , or other concerns , God assured me that he has everything in his hands .
This year , OMS celebrates 120 years of ministry . That ’ s 120 years of God ’ s faithfulness through World War I , World War II , the Great Depression , and more ! We also have incredible God stories of miracle after miracle in our history . Today is no different . He continues to take care of OMS ’ needs now .
One of our greatest needs is for more laborers for the harvest field … missionaries . We need traditional missionaries to help multiply disciples , churches , leaders , and missionaries , but we also have other compelling opportunities for people to serve in finance , media , and business as mission .
I hope you are inspired by this issue , and I encourage you to pray about how God wants you involved in what he is doing around the world .
