In Memoriam
In 2020 , One Mission Society lost several beloved missionaries . We now honor and remember these OMS missionaries who served with distinction for 10 years or more .
Claude Beachy and his wife Edna began fulltime service in Haiti at Radio 4VEH in 1971 . God used Claude ’ s skills with electronics and radio communication to spread the Gospel . The couple also served in Ecuador . After retirement from OMS in 1992 , Claude continued sharing God ’ s love and ministering to others .
Curtis “ Curt ” Buller was obedient to God ’ s call and joined the graphics production team at the OMS World Headquarters in 1974 . His wife Alice ( Al ) was his secretary , and they worked at OMS until their retirement in 1994 . Curt , a man of God , loved others and used his gifts to glorify Jesus .
Dick Capin served with his family as the OMS field treasurer in South Korea from 1961 – 1963 . Dick helped found Men for Missions ( MFM ) Korea , as well as the Francis Asbury Society . He also served as vice president and treasurer at the OMS headquarters . Dick left OMS in 1971 but returned as executive vice president from 1987-1990 .
