New Executive Director OMS USA
Danny Beasley has been named the new execu-
tive director of OMS USA. He assumed this strategic
leadership role on July 1, 2018. OMS President Bob
Fetherlin said that nine candidates were carefully
considered in this search conducted by two OMS
Board of Trustee executive leaders, as well as himself.
Danny began his career at United Parcel Service,
eventually serving in management before accepting a
call into full-time ministry in 2003.
Julie, his wife, is a CPA who worked in public
accounting with an emphasis on taxes and not-for-
profits for 22 years before being called into missions.
Danny and Julie joined One Mission Society
in 2012, serving in Ecuador for four years. Danny
worked as the district liaison with the Association
of Evangelical Churches in southern Ecuador. Julie
served as the field treasurer and also joined Danny in
his work in the southern Amazon basin.
Most recently, the Beasleys served in leadership
roles at the World Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana.
Danny served as the director of Mobilization, filling criti-
cal personnel needs, domestically and internationally.
Julie served as the controller until recently being named
to replace Travis Hamilton as the chief financial officer.
(Travis will assume new leadership responsibilities.)
Vision Update
At the OMS conference in July 2016, we launched the Billion.
Global Vision (formerly called the One Billion – One Opportunity
Vision), with the goal of giving one billion people the opportunity to
hear, understand, and believe the Good News of Jesus Christ over a 10-
year period. Now, 2 years into the 10-year goal, we have 117 partners
who have worked together to reach more than 19½ million people so far.
We have a long way to go but are excited about the momentum we have
and look forward to seeing God multiply Gospel-sharing opportunities.
