1901 – Charles and Lettie Cowman arrived
in Japan, joining Japanese pastor
Juji Nakada.
1902 – Ernest and Julia Kilbourne arrived
in Japan.
1908 – Juji Nakada led the Mission until
its incorporation.
1911 – The Oriental Missionary Society
was incorporated, and
Charles Cowman became
the 1st OMS President.
1924 – Charles died, and Ernest Kilbourne
became the 2nd President.
1928 – Ernest died, and Lettie became
the 3rd President.
1949 – Eugene Erny became
the 4th President.
1969 – Wesley Duewel became
the 5th President.
1982 – Ev Hunt became the 6th President.
1986 – Ed Erny became the 7th President.
1992 – JB Crouse became
the 8th President.
2004 – David Long became
the 9th President.
July 2014 – Bob Fetherlin will become
OMS’ 10th President.

Bob and his wife Esther come to us with 33 years of experience with The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA).
They spent 8 years serving in Mali, West Africa, and the
past 25 in leadership at the C&MA national headquarters.
Bob and Esther will officially begin service with OMS July
1, 2014. David and Lori Long and the entire OMS missionary body welcome Bob and Esther to the OMS family. We
look forward to the future and how God will use us as we
serve him together, by his grace and for his glory.
