Ukraine Life Group members in Kiev, Ukraine, organized an outreach party for Valentine’s Day. They organized a photo scavenger hunt, sending people around a mall to take Valentine’s Day-related pictures. Christians connected with pre-Christians, and God sparked several spiritual conversations. Japan OMS Japan recently signed a new partnership agreement with the Japan Holiness Church. We rejoice in our continued partnership with OMS’ first field, founded by Charles and Lettie Cowman in 1901. Taiwan Recently, Kelly Dingus, a teacher at Morrison Acad- emy (an MK school), shared this with her 2 nd grade class: “If I give you an iPad, beautifully wrapped and adorned in ribbon, but you never unwrap and use it, the iPad is useless. Jesus has given each of us a precious gift, but we must individually decide what we will do with that gift.” Kelly had no idea the Holy Spirit would use this illustration to speak to one of her MKs. That evening, the student prayed with her mom and accepted the most precious gift of all— salvation in Jesus Christ. Mozambique Luana Almeida is a 15-year-old missionary kid from Brazil, serving with her family in Mozambique. She loves life in Mozambique and the many people she gets to meet. Luana is in the 10 th grade at Christian Academy in Mozambique. “One of my favorite things about the school is that even though it is small, there are students from all over the world!” Every Thursday, the students participate in a community outreach to children in which the students sing and play with the kids, tell them about Jesus, and just love them! 9
