7,050 Bibles distributed 4,897 new worshiping groups formed 12,954 churches / worshiping groups meeting 170,674 decisions for Christ 98,789 baptisms
Ibrahim *, a West African Muslim man , led his local mosque . During Ramadan , he began having dreams of being attacked by demons until Jesus would come and fight for Ibrahim and make the demons depart .
After dreaming this often , asking his friends at the mosque to pray for the dream to stop with no result , he had had enough . Ibrahim visited an OMS Village Church Planting ( VCP ) leader he knew and said , “ I want to follow Jesus .” The church planter helped Ibrahim pray to receive Christ .
The next day , Ibrahim attended a three-day VCP training where OMS church planters taught him to use digital Bible resources . After the training , Ibrahim played part of an audio New Testament for his Muslim wife and children , and they liked it . In mid-January 2024 , Ibrahim was baptized .

OMS ’ VCP ministry trains village church planters in more than 700 training centers throughout 33 African countries to multiply disciples , churches , and leaders . Our VCP team is working to have a church in every African village by 2050 .
Thanks to generous OMS donors , these believers can work more efficiently through gifts of motorbikes and bicycles . VCP coordinators in West Africa , Guinea Conakry , Guinea Bissau , Kenya , Burkina Faso , Togo , Benin , and Ghana received new vehicles in early 2024 to strengthen the work of VCP in villages throughout these nations . They will use the cycles to visit training centers , church plants , and people more easily .
