Children ’ s ministry is foundational in generational transformation throughout Latin America . Ministries such as Satura Mexico , Satura Colombia , OMS Ecuador , and others around the region disciple the next generation into relationship with Jesus , into church leadership , and into future missionaries . Marvi attended a VBS in Ecuador and insisted that his mother , Jenny , attend the closing program . This began his family ’ s journey toward relationship with Christ , and now Marvi has been baptized and serves in children ’ s ministry . Jenny also accepted Jesus and leads a church planting ministry in their community .
The church in OMS ’ Caribbean field stands strong and vibrant despite a challenging environment . OMS partner ministries in one capital city have networked with 125 churches across denominations for food box distribution and meal delivery . In 2023 , they delivered 120 meals 5 days a week to the homebound . This network is now a vehicle for church multiplication training , leading to more than 60,000 homes receiving Bible teaching in this city .
