Emerging
With much excitement about One Mission Society ’ s ( OMS ) strong commitment to engage the one to reach the many , Esther and I passed the presidential baton to Jeff and Laura Edwards on July 1 , 2022 . We ’ ve sensed God ’ s enablement and guidance over the last eight years with OMS and have grown to deeply love our OMS family and partners around the world .
I will continue serving part time with Billion . Global and carrying out other responsibilities at the discretion of the new OMS President . There are good reasons to anticipate with great expectancy God ’ s continuing work through OMS . We will always have grateful hearts for eight wonderful years at OMS !
The pandemic has been challenging , even heart-wrenching . Sadly , OMS lost a Board member , a missionary , and several global partners to COVID-19 . Some aspects of OMS ministry had to be put on hold or were thwarted . Yet , God worked mightily even during the pandemic . As we EMERGE from it and consider what he has done , we are greatly encouraged . This report presents a helpful overview of One Mission Society ministry highlights for 2021 and the first quarter of 2022 , to the praise of God ’ s glory and grace !
