Keisha Harris is also known as Lady Lava born 14 August 1987 is a Trinidadian singer and songwriter of Soca and Dancehall music . Lady Lava was raised in the community of Cunupia . She aspires to become an entrepreneur , singer , and songwriter a jack of all trades as they saying goes but gravitated to the one she loves the most music .
Her journey to Lady Lava recollects always being in love with music and singing . It was at a young age she started writing poetry and just keeping it to herself , working on getting better she started writing songs and putting it together with melodies that were only at the time in her mind . She attended Carapichaima Senior Comprehensive School where she discovered her passion for singing and music . Her classmates will beat the desks creating a Riddim and she would perform for them . In 2008 she recorded her first track “ Bring it Back ” produced by Premier Studios , she also did work in 2011 on the Android Riddim and No Scribbles Riddim at Studio 53 working with producers Jabari Winchester and Qwasi and in 2015 she worked with Request Music and released a track “ Ride it ” But it was not until 2017 when Lady Lava came to spotlight with her releases “ Banger Secrets ” and her hit song “ Tail Light ” produced by Showtime Empire which made its way on the local and international airwaves .
Now in the prime of her career Lady Lava continues to showcase her talent and strives to be the best version of herself . Lady Lava ’ s confidence and dominance are aspects of her captivating persona that make her a strong , dynamic female figure in the music industry . She intends to live life to fullest and enjoy the journey ahead .
