If you're being offered a promotion without a raise, this is how to negotiate for your own long-term career interests. Then the conversation hits a snag: This promotion won’t come with a raise. A survey released by consultancy Korn Ferry found that nearly two-thirds of respondents (63%) would rather get a promotion with no salary increase than a salary increase with no promotion.
