24-year-old Atiba Chance aka “Xone” (pronounced
Zone) is an emerging local Songwriter and singer
out of Trinidad & Tobago. “Xone” is the younger
brother of Soca Monarch 2016 first runner up and
young veteran Preedy.
While he has always been behind the scenes in full
support of his brother, 2017 brought forward the
opportunity of stepping out as an artiste with his
track “Move as a Tribe “ which features none other
than his brother Preedy.
With only one year as a songwriter, he has penned
many songs for the likes of Trinidad’s soca artist Lil

Bits, Farmer Nappy, Kes and Nailah Blackman and
Barbados’s Alison Hinds to name a few.
Also a dancer and a lover of film, which he studied
at the Film Institute, he has also shot and edited a
few music videos and had a major part to play in
his video “move as a Tribe”.
“Xone” a songwriter at Anson Production studio
has been writing in genres ranging from Hip
Hop, RnB, Trap, Dancehall and of course Soca,
which brought forward this huge opportunity to
collaborate with Incarcerated Dancehall King Vybz
Kartel.
