Local entrepreneur, Gillian Roberts would be
launching her two new lines on July 2nd in Macoya
Gardens, Tunapuna.
She is the owner of the beauty salon, Hair By Gillian
and her first line is hair food and is dedicated to
restoring moister and health to hair. She says
“After working with so many different types of
hair, I’ve realized that they require different types
of treatment. However, this can be so inconvenient
and expensive. Therefore, I’ve come up with a
solution that works for everyone. My hair food will
make them have healthier and more manageable
hair. Best of all, it’s for all types of hair.”
Gillian’s second line is specially designed barbering
aprons and capes. Her aim is to make barber shop
employees all over the country look more uniformed
and professional. “I often see people on social
media complaining about poor service in the hair
industry,” she says. “Not just about a bad weave or a
bad cut but the employees also complain about the
lack of protection for their clothing. So I came up
with my line to help my fellow beauticians protect
themselves while creating a more professional
look within their organization. I think this will leave
clients impressed, satisfied and regularly coming
back.”
