DEVELOPMENT
LAUNCH OF THE JOHN DOLMAN SOCIETY
Pocklington School is deeply grateful to all benefactors and donors who have , over many years , supported the school . From those who so enthusiastically helped celebrate the quincentenary in 2014 , to those who gave so generously to enable the building of the Art and Design Technology Centre and those who have given gifts to help pupils excel both in and out of the classroom . Their support has been extraordinary .
In order to officially recognise this generosity , the Development Office has created the John Dolman Society , exclusively for donors and benefactors to the school . The office is delighted that Brian Fenwick-Smith ( OP 43-54 ), has kindly agreed to become President of the John Dolman Society .
In October 2019 , it was a great pleasure to welcome members of the John Dolman Society to the school ’ s Commemoration of Benefactors Service , and to morning coffee beforehand .
Toby Seth , Headmaster said : “ It was a privilege to meet members of the John Dolman Society at this inaugural gathering and be able to extend our appreciation to them as supporters of Pocklington School .”
