“United Progressive Coalition” is a movement designed to encourage young adults of Black and Latino descent to use their social media voices in live spaces that matter. Our purpose is to create a brave community where our words and thoughts become actionable and lead us to actively effect change. As a collective, we understand that a strong voice with no action is void—and the state of being Black in America doesn’t allow us the freedom to be still. Therefore, our mission is to challenge young adults to let those 140-characters transition into a resilient effort to enforce change."
