BIKELAHOMA
VETERANS HELPING VETERANS
MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Bikelahoma for
the Barracks, a fundraiser for vets in
need, needs us. Local businessman,
Alex Reynolds, donated the Grace
Living facility in Muskogee to B4B staff
to obtain career guidance and training,
as a homeless shelter, a therapy center
and home for vets. In April, scum-suck-
ing A-holes (‘scum’ for short) broke in,
stole all the copper from the building,
the AC unit and busted the place up to
boot (costing B4B about $60,000). But
there’s a way to help restore this Center
in Muskogee back to what it needs to
be and we need you to help us make it
happen.
Play Store; find bands, buy tickets, do-
nate and more is all there. Find them on
Facebook too (search for ‘Bikelahoma
for the Barracks’). Specific questions
can be forwarded to Victor Lezama at
[email protected] or by calling (918)
729-5365.
Local vets gave so much only to bring
the war home with them. Their efforts
are not in vain; Bikelahoma is making
big changes. Show our local vets they
are never forgotten. If you are military,
come out and get your long-overdue
accolades. Thank you and God Bless.
October 7 is your shot to get with
others who love our vets as much as
we do and wear your American pride
unapologetically. Step away from your
Facebook rants and cat memes. Bring
the family for the afternoon, then show
your special someone a great night out.
Bring old friends and make new ones.
Live music, food, beer and kid entertain-
ment are only the beginning.
Family events happen at Hatbox Field in
Muskogee from 2-6 p.m. and the whole
family is welcome, then they will prog-
ress into a ‘grown-ups-only’ event with
bands and brews from about 7-11:45
p.m.
