WHAT IS HOT RODS
MOTORCYCLE RENTAL
Rod McGee is a veteran business
owner specializing in renting Harley
Davidson motorcycles. His shop, Hot
Rods Motorcycle Rentals is located off
Tulsa’s Route 66 on 179 South 122
East Ave. Rod and his wife found the in-
spiration to start a motorcycle business
while they were on vacation in Florida.
Having always wanted to open his own
rental business, they met a couple from
New Zealand who have immigrated
to the U.S to start their own motorcy-
cle rental company. Rod and his wife
rented a bike from them while they were
there, and after hitting it off the couple,
Rod decided he would take the steps
necessary to get started. Rod’s goal is
to offer his high-quality American made
Harley-Davidson motorcycles to those
visiting on vacation, taking a weekend
trip, and for those who have always
wanted to ride a Harley.
Hot Rods currently offers three premium
Harley Davidson motorcycles. Leading
the pack is a Street Glide followed by an
Ultra Classic and a 1200 Custom Sport-
ster. All three motorcycles can be rented
at astonishing low prices with a small
mandatory fee for liability insurance. To
rent any of these bikes, customers must
be at least 21 years of age and pos-
sess a motorcycle endorsement. Out of
country visitors possessing a motorcy-
cle endorsement for their country are
also welcome to rent. Rod is aiming to
increase his fleet size, planning for an-
other 3 bikes by the end of the year. He

seeks to add a Harley Davidson Her-
itage Softtail, a Road King, and other
models of Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Many customers enjoy getting together
with their friends for multi-day trips.
Hot Rods is the best options for those
seeking adventure because there is
no mileage limit on rentals. With only a
daily fee, these bikes can be ridden as
far as the heart desires. A high-quality
DOT certified helmet is included with
all rentals and must be taken with the
renter. Please be aware of state helmet
laws when traveling out of Oklahoma.
