Ex imo pectore (from the bottom of my heart): Possibly the most heartfelt of the valedictions, “ex imo pectore” is a nice phrase for anyone who needs to give sincere thanks to someone else. Ave atque vale (hail and farewell): More put together than “vale” but not quite as extra as “cura ut valeas,” "ave atque vale” is the perfect middle ground between simple and extravagant. Cura ut valeas (take care so that you may be well): Used by Cicero himself, this valediction is sure to look amazing in any e-mail you send to anyone. Definitely a few steps up from “vale.” 39
