The Executive Board will also make good use of the local
officer lists, sending out important emails about National
Convention, local Make A Difference Day events and other
important topics for growing local boards. We hope that
these will make it easier than ever to get more involved in
OJCL events in the upcoming year.
Finally, don’t forget to register for the NJCL convention
this summer! This year, OJCLers are extremely fortunate to
have convention in Ohio — Miami University is no more
than five hours from Cleveland, and only an hour from
Cincinnati and Columbus. NJCL has everything that we have
at OJCL, including testing, Graphic Arts, and General
Assemblies, but also much more: Ludi, State Fellowship, and
World Series Certamen, for example. I cannot wait to see all
of my JCL amici not only from Ohio, but from across the
entire country at NJCL. I hope to see you there.
