To my beloved OJCL:
I’ve had the time of my life serving as your
Editor. I’ve met extraordinary people; I’ve
assembled 163 pages of your incredible writing and
artwork; I’ve had the joy of being a member of
your executive board. The amount of time I’ve
spent on these Torches is rivaled only by the
amount of love I’ve poured into every issue.
This farewell is a bittersweet one: saying
goodbye to something you love is never easy, but I
cannot wait to see what your next Editor has in
store for you. As I write this, the 2018-2019 Editor
has yet to be appointed, but I have complete faith
in them nevertheless. I wish them the best of luck.
And with that… I hereby pass the Torch.
