NJCL: On a beautiful morning,
OJCLers across the state of Ohio
took flights to Fargo, North Dakota.
They convened at the airport and
immediately began the journey to
NDSU. Upon arrival, the hyped
OJCLers experienced the first rain
while they walked to their dorm
rooms. Upon moving into the
dorms, the OJCLers bonded with

each other as they played games and grabbed lunch.
Suddenly, more states started arriving in Fargo, and so the
OJCLers began to socialize with others. Thus, the National Junior Classical League Convention
had begun.
Time went by, and JCLers began to register for Ludi and Olympika. JCLers began to
discover the pool tables and started playing. More time passed and the JCLers made their way to
the iconic Fargodome for the first GA. As the evening passed, the Agora opened. To end the first
night in Fargo, all the JCLers went to fellowship. On the following day, the first test session
happened, and who cannot forget about the microphone cutting out. JCLers began to hype up as
it was the first day of spirit wars. Proceeding GA, the first of the Ludi happened as well as Meet
the NJCL Officers. The Decathlon was a hit and the Ohio stand at the Agora continued to sell
OJCL shirts. On Sunday, the third day of convention, Meet the Candidates happened, where our
very own Andrew Cahall ran for Communications Coordinator. Later that night, competitive
certamen started. Unfortunately, rain cancelled Ultimate Frisbee, meaning Ohio is still the
“raining” champion. Monday, the fourth day of
