NJCL: On a beautiful morning, OJCLers across the state of Ohio took flights to Fargo, North Dakota. They convened at the airport and immediately began the journey to NDSU. Upon arrival, the hyped OJCLers experienced the first rain while they walked to their dorm rooms. Upon moving into the dorms, the OJCLers bonded with The Ohio delegation at NJCL! each other as they played games and grabbed lunch. Suddenly, more states started arriving in Fargo, and so the OJCLers began to socialize with others. Thus, the National Junior Classical League Convention had begun. Time went by, and JCLers began to register for Ludi and Olympika. JCLers began to discover the pool tables and started playing. More time passed and the JCLers made their way to the iconic Fargodome for the first GA. As the evening passed, the Agora opened. To end the first night in Fargo, all the JCLers went to fellowship. On the following day, the first test session happened, and who cannot forget about the microphone cutting out. JCLers began to hype up as it was the first day of spirit wars. Proceeding GA, the first of the Ludi happened as well as Meet the NJCL Officers. The Decathlon was a hit and the Ohio stand at the Agora continued to sell OJCL shirts. On Sunday, the third day of convention, Meet the Candidates happened, where our very own Andrew Cahall ran for Communications Coordinator. Later that night, competitive certamen started. Unfortunately, rain cancelled Ultimate Frisbee, meaning Ohio is still the “raining” champion. Monday, the fourth day of South Spring Service: On Saturday convention, was eventful.
