Look 1: The Basic Unisex Toga Look 2: The Beyonce of Togas Materials: bed sheet, a friend (maybe), clothespins Materials: bed sheet, rope/belt 1. Drape the bed sheet over one shoulder so it ends at your lower back.* 2. Hold the draped portion down with one hand while with your other hand (or with your friend’s hands) wrap the sheet diagonally across your chest and under your arm and across your back so that the draped part is secured. Continue wrapping as needed. 3. Once there is not enough fabric to complete another wrap around, tuck the top end of the the sheet into the part already wrapped. For best results, this should be on the side opposite the “strap” you created. 4. Adjust the length if needed and pin your wrapped toga into place. * If you want to tuck in the back instead of the front, just drape the sheet down your chest instead of down your back and pin the other end onto the “strap.” 1. Fold the bed sheet in half hot dog style. 2. Wrap the sheet around your body under your arms like a towel. Leave about 3-4 feet unwrapped. 3. Hold down the wrapped part of the toga and twist the left over sheet as if to make a rope. Run this over your shoulders and behind your neck. 4. Tie the twisted end to the wrapped end of the toga. 5. Pin the wrapped portion onto your shirt to secure it and adjust the layers and folds to your taste. 6. Accessorize with a belt or rope. Owen Kranz sporting a Winnie the Pooh- themed toga.
