Cladding Cell is an extremely powerful cladding
system that leaves nothing to be desired
thanks to its simple operation, precise motion
sequences and comprehensive data recording
options. In addition, the Compact Cladding
Cell is characterized by innovative software
functions, maximum process reliability and
maximum reliability in continuous use. The
Automatic Multi Sequence function allows
several welding and movement parameters to
be stored in the form of sequences which are
executed fully automatically one after the other
starting from the parking position.
Endless Torch Rotation - new control system
for greater application versatility
This cladding system was developed for larger
and more complex components. The heart of
the ETR system is the endlessly rotating welding
head, which can also weld components with
several bores and different bore angles. The
torch and wire feeder rotate together around
the bore axis. The fully automatic centering
of the components saves production time. A
further development of the ETR system is the
ETR Ultimate. This welding system literally
crowns the current ETR: Users can use it not
only for classic cladding, but also for joining
components with complex geometries and seam
sequences that are difficult to weld. This is made
possible by the new system control, equipped
with a convenient 21-inch touch display. The
welding technician sees a three-dimensional
model of the component to be welded, for which
all he has to do is import the design data from
the CAD software. Before the welding process
starts, the user defines the welding sequence via
a user-friendly user interface. The system-owned
software then translates the entered parameters
into the CNC programming language G-Code
and the welding process can start. The
innovative system control directs all axes
simultaneously and moves the welding head
directly to the target point.
New High Performance Pipe Cladding
System - higher welding speeds
The Pipe Cladding System is a special
solution for the internal cladding of pipes
such as risers. Fronius has significantly
improved the performance of its pipe cladding
system and thus multiplied the welding
speed. In order to achieve these high welding
speeds, the wire feed and welding torch
have been optimized, which significantly
increases the deposition rate. In addition to
the enormous savings in machining time, the
new cladding system consumes less gas and
protects the torch wear parts. The cooling of
the torch, wire feeder and camera is highly
efficient and ensures reliable operation at high
temperatures inside the tube. The result is a
high-performance cladding system that leaves
nothing to be desired in terms of welding
speed, quality and economy.
