Q9 : Are there additional issues and considerations that should be considered for this route ? Auto , bicycles need to be able to travel safely together . Both need to be able to get to work safely . Auto drivers need to be able to share the road without hitting a bicyclist . Q10 : What do you feel is the most important opportunity or challenge for this section of the Louisville Loop route ? River Rd needs to be paved . Once the bridges are built it has to be paved . Some areas will be impossible to widen , but it appears most can be widened a few feet to give both a safe ride down the road . Walkers and joggers do not need much room , and can use the grass to the side when needed . Q11 : Please provide any additional information you would like to share with Louisville Metro Parks and the project planning team . The area from the Butchertown Gateway to the end of the park area need to be focused on now . Then the boundary from there to Brownsboro Rd last . Make the public park area good for the fun riders as well as the professional cyclist .
