Q10: What do you feel is the most important opportunity or challenge for this section of the
Louisville Loop route?
River Road is very narrow with people's property extending out to the edge of the road, so there
is not much room for bike accommodations without affecting all the residents along the way.
Q11: Please provide any additional information you would like to share with Louisville Metro
Parks and the project planning team.
River Rd is a beautiful ride but the narrow road, high speed limit, and continuously increasing
traffic make it hazardous and difficult to enjoy. It would be absolutely prudent to make changes
to relieve the contention between cyclists and drivers.
