Ohio River Vally Northeast (ORVNE) Segment of the Louisville Loop: Survey Responses
Q8: Of the nine considerations listed above, please identify which ones you feel are the THREE
MOST IMPORTANT considerations for this study area (please mark only three):
Dimensional suitability, Constructability, Safety
Q9: Are there additional issues and considerations that should be considered for this route?
Maintenance and safety are key concerns. The down town section is horrible- poorly
maintained- dirty- garbage everywhere - grass not cut often- bug city. Most road bikers won't
use that section because of the condition and safety. I only mountain bike on that section.
Q10: What do you feel is the most important opportunity or challenge for this section of the
Louisville Loop route?
Limited road usage for safety and access to East End bridges for riding routes in Indiana
Q11: Please provide any additional information you would like to share with Louisville Metro
Parks and the project planning team.
Need Access to Indiana, hope that the new bridges are taking that into account. Biking is going
great in Louisville. The new East End Floyd fork section is awesome and it gets a lot of use, jut
need to connect all the sections. Hard time to do this survey- not in the BIKING MIND-FRAME
so issues, concerns, ideas are not on the fore front of my mind.
