On IMVU there are sooo many nursery styles, sizes and choices. Many tend to lean toward the larger size rooms while I am a huge fan of smaller more intimate spaces. My nursery style is very different as well. I love to kind of think outside the box and take a more realistic creative design approach. I do a lot of research and see what colors go with what feel, mood, and temperament. Its for baby after all and it should be intimate and also calming and relaxing for mommy and daddy at the same time. The nursery should be a place where you love to go and spend time with your little bundle.
I am also a huge fan of details. DETAILS, DETAILS, and more DETAILS. I try not to do too much, lol, but yes sometimes i can get a little carried away! The beauty of the decorated room though is that it just comes already set! I do all the work for you. After all you have a lot on your plate and not so much spare time to be doin all of that. However,on the flip side, it can be a lot of fun to share the room and decorate together with your husband, boo, or bestie! That way you can pick and choose what to include and what is perfect for you!
The choices out there vary not only from size to style, but also you have the choice to just decorate a room in your already fabulous home! Just go for it and pick and choose various items from shop to include in the room you've decided to use as your
baby's nursery. The trick to this one is you have to go with whatever color is already on those walls unless the room is of a neutral color. Either way it can work!
Ah now here is the route I see a lot of folks taking and that is having a room custom made. This one is very popular. While I as a creator do not have the time to often do this, I have in the past and have worked with some great couples with great ideas. Again, I do not like large nurseries so I tend to steer them away from those LOL. They love me for it!
For my nursery I created for my baby girl, Lyric, I got my inspiration from Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's nursery they did or had done for their twins! I am a fan, yes, and I loved that nursery! The olive green with the pink and beige OMG I died when I saw it. It's super elegant and classic. It has such a cozy feel to it. I enjoy being in there. That is how you should feel, bumps, when you're in your baby's nursery.
Whatever size, style, or choice you make, bumps, be sure to make the nursery your own. You can do this by adding little personal details to it like pictures of you and baby or your fave framed quotes or blooms. You may also personalize it with your baby's name or a mural for a wall. Just have fun and bump it up!
