This month’s maternity doctor spotlight is on Maternity Owls. Maternity Owls has been servicing IMVU bumps for 4 years and is run by the gracious and talented Dr. Marie. Dr. Marie studied at Lonestar and also did a lot of research and self studying to help her with her medical knowledge and her role play skills. Now as y'all know, I am a HUGE fan of details and realism so Dr.Marie practicing and implementing great role play is an essential part of this whole bump - doctor experience!
What has made you successful?
Dr. Marie: Family and friends have contributed to my success. That and having a strong head when things get hard which keeps me from never giving up!
What do you think sets you aside from all other Clinics?
Dr. Marie: Not only do we provide maternity care, we provide pediatric care to Your little kiddos and newborns here at Ped Owls where we offer insurance plans and back to school shots. We also have a hospital just for the young ones which is equipped with a nicu/icu for the babies who get sick and need extra care. Moreover, when some kiddos have to stay overnight or for a while, we have a comfortable and fun recovery room just for them with fish and toys and everything kids need to feel like they are at home! Lastly, we host little events and birthday parties and so much more for the children and their families. It's always a great time to come out and enjoy the Owls family!
What special services are provided to your patients?
Dr. Marie: We host baby showers, gender reveals, and welcoming parties. We also have a pharmacy - 2 locations and cafes for mommy, daddy,and family to enjoy!
