Get to know the woman behind the cover – Georgina Eve.
ecently we ran a contest in conjunction with the uber-
talented Gareth Christian Photography, where one lucky
yogi would feature on the front cover of this very mag. And
guess what? We have a winner! Introducing... Georgina Eve.

Georgina is a private yoga specialist and yoga teacher training
facilitator who lives and breathes yoga education. Georgina has
been teaching yoga for nine years, during which time she’s
clocked up more than 2,000 hours of training. Her experience
in teaching specialist workshops, masterclasses, yoga teacher
training sessions and private lessons is extensive to say the
least! Certified and registered with continuing education
provider Yoga Alliance, Georgina runs her own registered yoga
school called Movement Freedom Transformation, where she
embraces the rigour and rich tradition of yoga and shares her
passion about the personal transformation and empowerment
that a regular practise and study of yoga delivers.
‘I believe in yoga and the power of its transformation –
physically, mentally and emotionally – and I know it’s real
because I’ve experienced it myself. I’ve been practising yoga
since I was a teenager. My beautiful mother first introduced me
to the practice, and I used to watch her with inspiration as
she’d kick up into a headstand with such great ease. I wasn’t
aware of the fundamentals of yoga back then, but knew that it
had changed her life. To this day my mother is still my
inspiration and I will be eternally grateful to her for passing on
the gift of yoga to me.’
