Tell us about your business, Dingle Wellness
The business involves myself and my wife
Martine Dingle who is a naturopath. At
Dingle Wellness we research cutting-edge
science, write about it and present our
findings. We deliver around 100
presentations a year, mainly in Australia;
and for the past three years, we have done
a three-month tour on the east coast.
You’re currently working on a new book
called People, Probiotics And Poo. What
has been the most surprising thing you’ve
discovered during your research?
Probiotics are involved in every chronic
health issue. If someone with any
chronic condition asked me where to
start I would definitely say the gut.
Some final words...
What do you believe is the most overlooked
or underrated factor in people's journey to
achieving optimum wellness?
Setting goals, planning and preparing for
what you want to become. It is more than
just thinking about them or writing them
down. Instead, it should be a long term and
strategic approach. I had three PhD
students working with me on this topic, for
over 12 years.
I am passionate about health and I am
driven because I hate seeing people
suffer when they don't have to. I detest
the lies and misinformation put out
there from vested interests, particularly
the
pharmaceutical
and
food
companies. That is why I have written
extensively about the ineffectiveness of
drugs. What I believe is more effective,
is a common sense approach to health.
Dr Dingle has authored over 100 scientific
papers and presented at many
international conferences. He also spent
over two decades teaching and
investigating all areas of health with a
small research team.
